I want to see every student at Cal Poly and Cuesta have the opportunity to hear about, and wrestle with, the Person of Jesus Christ. I see Cal Poly as a sending ground to the nations. The American University was founded with the purpose of training missionaries to go to the world. I would love to see us recapture that purpose...complete with college level courses and a library. |

| How I came to accept Jesus: |
For a short period of time while I was in 7th grade my parents took our family to church. It was during this time that I heard that Jesus had died on the cross for our sins and that he was offering forgiveness and a relationship with God. I knew that I was sinful, could not pay for my own sin, and that I desired to know God in a personal way. One Sunday morning, the pastor gave an opportunity for people to accept the forgiveness offered by Jesus. That morning, I asked Jesus into my life. Unfortunately, we stopped going to church shortly after. I got involved with Campus Crusade my sophomore year in high school and it was there where I learned more about my relationship with God. |
